A downloadable game

Hey, I’m Jacob! I just started learning Unity and made my first 2D game. It’s inspired by this awesome game called People Playground by Studio Minus, developed by a guy named mestiez. You should definitely check it out on Steam and maybe buy it too just saying:

Anyway, here’s some info about my game. It kind of looks like a 4-year-old made it, not gonna lie—but hey, it’s my first game so I’m still learning. I somehow got glowing lights to work and they actually light up the room, which I think is pretty cool. The settings menu is still a work in progress though.

Right now, you can spawn 3 different objects. I was planning to add a 4th one, but I’ve been procrastinating… yeah, I know. There are a lot of bugs—like, the UI breaks most of the time. I had to remove the settings menu completely because it was just way too buggy. Honestly, I need to re-learn some C# because I forgot a bunch of stuff 😅

You can select and rotate objects, and you can fling them too… but the flinging is kind of broken. It’s super strong and just launches stuff across the screen for no reason. So yeah, that’s what I’ve got so far!

Install instructions

Just extract the zip file and double click on “peples playgrond.” If Windows SmartScreen pops up, don’t freak out lol. That happens with like almost every Unity game from itch.io, mostly cuz it’s not signed then boom my game.
